Vivo India has officially launched the latest V15 with the innovative pop-up camera at a mid-range price. Vivo has been looking to make a new trend with Vivo V15 which had a mass entry with its innovative features. With the combination of 3D curves and Spectrum Ripple Design, Vivo promise to constantly push the limits of smartphone design. Vivo has wowed buyers with its amazing features.

Vivo v15 is very attractive with its eye-catching design. The back side of the phone is super cool with gradient style colorways. The front view is really good with its extensive viewing area. The fingerprint sensor which is properly placed at the back is very convenient and perform quick unlock. Vivo V15 comes in three colour variants - Royal Blue, Frozen Black, and Glamour Red. This model feels premium, fit, and finish. In the case of the overall design, the company has done a great job.

Vivo V15: Display • Display Type: IPS LCD • Pixel Density: 395 ppi • Screen Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass v5 • Screen Size: 16.59cm (6.53-inch) • Screen Resolution: 1080 x 2340 pixels • Touch Screen: Capacitive Touchscreen, Multi-touch Vivo v15 comes with a large, uninterrupted 6.53-inch Full HD+ display stands out which is really good and the texts look crisp on it. There is no notch to interrupt the media consumption that gives you a clean experience. But with the lack of Widewine L1 certification, the phone can't stream HD videos on Netflix and Amazon. The display is well fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection that provides extra durability to the screen. The display gives good colour production and reasonably high clarity. This is the best device for watching videos and gaming.

Vivo V15: Performance • Chipset: MediaTek Helio P70 • Processor: Octa core (2.1 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) • Architecture: 64 bit • Ram: 6 GB Coming on to the Software, it holds FunTouch OS UI which is pretty functional, customizable, and even smooth. Vivo V15 comes with a Mediatek Helio P70 SoC that has been paired to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, that can be expanded up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. The core hardware tasked to run the Android Pie based FunTouch OS 9. The Helio P70 is a mid-range processor that offers a satisfactory performance. One of the highlights of Helio processors are, the heating issue is less. The fingerprint scanner of this model is fast but the single speaker lacks clarity. The performance is butter smooth as expected and even complex games run smooth with it and a 6GB of RAM helps in running multiple apps in the background.

Vivo V15: Camera • Image Resolution: 4000 x 3000 Pixels • Resolution: 32 MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera • Physical Aperture: F2.0 • Flash: Screen flash • Video Recording: 1920x1080 @ 30 fps Considering Vivo V15 camera, it comes with a set of triple rear cameras consisting of a main 12-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Image quality is very competent in daylight and portrait shots also perform well. The wide-angle camera helps to capture wide panoramas, with interesting frames. This model has a very good 32MP popup selfie camera. The popup mechanism works fast and captures shots quickly.

Vivo V15: Battery • Quick Charging: Yes • Type: Li-ion • Capacity: 4000 mAh Battery life is fine with a 4000mAh battery. Comparing with V15 Pro, it is slightly better. Vivo V15 Supports fast charging with Vivo’s “Dual Engine” charging. The power-efficient processor (Helio P70) provides great battery life and it also helps to maintain the optimal performance of the device. On a single charge, this model works for about 12 hours of normal usage which is good.

Vivo V15: Variants As discussed in the above design section, Vivo V15 comes in three colour options. Vivo V15 is available only in one variant, ie; 6GB RAM and internal storage of 64GB which can be expandable up to 256GB by using a microSD card.

Summary: Even though V15 is a better model that comes within the range 22k, it faces stiff competition with other models like Samsung Galaxy A50 and Oppo F11 Pro.Overall, Vivo V15 is a better option for those who are looking for a good camera smartphone at this price range. This serves well and a normal user won't face any issue in their daily usages.
