Our story Vision to enable customers to achieve the best. People who break the trend and create their own path do not wait for an opportunity, they create new ones. It took a bit of audacity and hard work but A.K.Shaji broke barriers and set new milestones in his journey to become the premier Mobile Phone & Digital Electronic Gadgets Retailer in Kerala, with the ambition of becoming the premier retailer with the largest number of outlets across South India. Great credit must be ascribed to A.K.Shaji for his entrepreneurial zeal and confidence in staying back home in Kerala and getting into a business that had no precedence at that time, while his relations were making their mark in the Middle East. As the Indian Economy opened up and the mobile phone revolution unfolded, the need for professional and well-managed showrooms and retail outlets to meet the requirement of a burgeoning middle class just became apparent. The inspiration led to the creation of his brainchild - Kerala’s First Exclusive Mobile Phone Showroom, at Mavoor Road, Kozhikode, in 2006. The outlet christened 3G Digital World raced rapidly up the ladder. Quickly updating technologies and fast-changing customer changes called for being nimble on the feet and having all the information and data through a constant learning process. The quality of the products, the friendly service and the reliable guidance provided to customers helped 3G Digital World earn the trust and confidence of customers who came in for repeat purchases and also recommended customers.

This uncompromising quality towards customer service and technology up-gradation was instrumental in 3G Digital World achieving a presence across 14 districts of Northern Kerala. In 2016, the company went in for a complete rebranding exercise – taking on a new name and identity. Rebranded as myG (which stands for ‘my Generation Digital Hub’), at the time of the inauguration of the Kochi Showroom, there is no looking back. The brand myG has very soon earned a reputation for being the most preferred mobile phone outlet in Kerala.

Apart from gadgets, myG expands its product portfolio into home appliance sales through exclusive large format retail chain called myG Future. myG Future offers best home appliances including TV, Refrigerators, AC, Washing Machines, Kitchen Appliances and so on. Currently there are 5 future stores and more are in pipeline which will launch in 2022-2023 financial year.

Through sheer determination, dedication and adherence to good customer service values, myG, under the stewardship of A.K.Shaji, revolutionised the Digital Products Retail scenario in South India within a short span with well-stocked and highly professional showrooms, dealing with the world’s best mobile phones and top ranking brands from across the globe.

He is personally active in Social Service and myG is involved in numerous progressive CSR activities. During the recent Kerala Floods, 2018, Kerala witnessed widespread destruction and loss of livelihood. As a corporate at forefront of providing relief, myG supported the homeless and mentally challenged individuals and assisted in the rebuilding of the infrastructure of hospitals. For his vision and business acumen, Mr.Shaji is the proud recipient of numerous prestigious business awards.
