Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review and Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review and Specifications

If you are an Android lover, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the best phones available in India right now. Although similar to its predecessor, the S20 Ultra on paper, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has small but significant tweaks which make it stand out from the rest of Samsung’s smartphones.

It almost feels like this is what Samsung was aiming for with the S20 Ultra. With more and better cameras, better battery life, and S Pen compatibility, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is one to beat. Let’s take a quick dive into this Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra review. Find more on our products: Buy Samsung phone online

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review

Starting at Rs 1,05,999, the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is available in two variants. The 12GB + 256GB model is available at a price of Rs 1,05,999 while the 16GB + 512GB variant costs Rs 1,16,999. It has a faster SoC, improved cameras, and supports the S Pen.

Colour options for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra include Phantom Black and Phantom Silver. Its matte body is getting rave reviews for being smudge-proof and scratch-resistant. The contour-cut design is a refreshing look from Samsung’s usual look. In the new design, the camera module is more integrated into the body and as a result, looks like an extension to its metal frame.

However, with dimensions 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 227g, it is bulkier than its predecessor. This variant also no longer supports Micro SD and MST functionality. Read more about Samsung Galaxy S21 features below

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a glass front and back with an aluminum frame. Among Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specifications, the 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display is one of the best you have ever seen. The display is brighter and has a higher contrast ratio compared to its predecessors. It can run at 120 Hz at QHD+ resolution and can be lowered to 10 Hz if you need to save power. It is also unique in design as Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the only phone in the series to have a curved edge display.

This phone also debuts Qualcomm’s new ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, making it easier to unlock. On the other hand, its face unlock feature can still be improved. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra provides a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection and features an always-on display. Also, check: Samsung Phones under 25000

Specs and Performance

Like all other smartphones in its flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Ultra 5G also uses the Exynos 21000. But this time, it comes with incredible performance and improved efficiency. Although video and photo editing work smoothly, it does face some heating issues while gaming. With 12GB of RAM, you don’t have to worry about memory management with this smartphone. The smartphone is 5-G capable and runs on One UI 3.1 over Android 11.

Battery

The large body of the S21 Ultra makes sense when you see it equipped with its non-removable Li-Ion 5,000mAh battery. Combined with a 5nm chipset, it is one of the best batteries Samsung has come up with yet. Even though the charge can last as long as a day, the downside is that Samsung has discontinued providing chargers citing environmental reasons. The fast charging is also much lower than what we usually see in other Android smartphones.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra camera offers 40-megapixel (f/2.2, 0.7-micron) on the front camera and has four cameras with108-megapixel (f/1.8, 0.8-micron), 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.4-micron), 10-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.22-micron), 10-megapixel (f/4.9, 1.22-micron) resolution respectively.

It has two telephoto lenses that offer breath-taking clarity while zooming. Because of the new 108MP ISOCELL HM3 image sensor, the primary camera is impressive and the photos are pretty close to reality. The s21 also provides a ‘focus enhancer’ feature which switches to the ultra-wide lens while taking close-ups to ensure clarity throughout the frame. Also, check: Samsung phones under 30000

S Pen

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first of the series to be compatible with the S Pen Stylus. But there is a catch. You do not get an S Pen with the phone and there is no way to embed the stylus even if you buy one separately. Even though the smartphone is compatible with all stylus pens, you may find it inconvenient to use without a definite holder along with the smartphone.

This Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra review suggests that it is a good option for those who love binge-watching and reading. It has epic camera quality and will be an advantage if you love taking good photos. If you are one of those people who love sleek minimal designs, then the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra is for you. With its black finish and bold design, this smartphone stands out.

However, it is a large phone that weighs as it looks. Therefore, it might be uncomfortable to carry around if you do not have large pockets, big hands, and strong arms. With all these new specifications, this phone is also quite expensive. If you are on a budget, the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra price may not appeal to you.
